Panel: Fostering Diversity in the Art Ecosystem

26 January, S.E.A Focus, Singapore

Nathalie Johnston, Seelan Palay and Chomwan Weeraworawit

Join ArtReview Asia at S.E.A. Focus, Singapore’s boutique art fair (23–27 January), for a conversation looking at the alternative models making up the art ecosystem. Nathalie Johnston (founder and director of Myanm/art, Yangon), Seelan Palay (artist and founder of Coda Culture, Singapore) and Chomwan Weeraworawit (cultural consultant and founder of Mysterious Ordinary) will discuss the role of these structures, from independent and self-run spaces to largescale events such as biennales, in shaping the way art is framed, shared and disseminated to the public. The talk will be moderated by Mark Rappolt, editor-in-chief of ArtReview and ArtReview Asia.
