Hans Ulrich Obrist and Olafur Eliasson turned into human cheese

Self Made, part of exhibition Grow Your Own, at Trinity College Dublin

Cheese wheels made from human bacteria collected from individuals including Hans Ulrich Obrist and Olafur Eliasson form part of Grow Your Own: Life After Nature, Trinity College Dublin's current exhibition which looks at the possibilities of synthetic life. The cheeses are part of a project by Christina Agapakis and Sissel Tolaas, which investigates relational synthetic biology through the practices of cheesemaking.
