Nina Zimmer appointed director of newly merged Zentrum Paul Klee and Kunstmuseum Bern

Nina Zimmer has been appointed as director of the Zentrum Paul Klee and the Kunstmuseum Bern in Switzerland, Artnet reports. The two museums recently merged under an umbrella foundation called KMB ZPK, and are currently holding their first joint exhibition, Chinese Whispers: Recent Art from the Sigg & M+ Collections (on through 19 June). An art historian and curator, Zimmer is currently the deputy director at the Kunstmuseum Basel; she will take up the new position in August 2016.
