'Nazi art' hoarder Cornelius Gurlitt dies

The art hoarder, whose Munich apartment was found to contain 1,400 artworks, many believed to have been looted by the Nazis, has died, age 81

Gurlitt, who had undergone major heart surgery, had recently come to an agreement with the German authorities to ascertain which works had been stolen, and to then return them, BBC News reports.
