Artists have until 23 June to apply for the next Collide@CERN Ars Electronica Award, which includes an eight-week residency at CERN followed by a stay in Linz at the Ars Electronica Futurelab.

Submissions need to include a brief presentation video in which the artist describes why s/he believes that a residency at CERN will provide inspiration for their work, a concise summary of the artistic project they wish to pursue in conjunction with the residency, and a corresponding cost estimate, along with examples of the artist’s previous work. The winner will be officially presented at the Ars Electronica Festival September 3-7, 2015

The previous recipients of the award are Julius von Bismarck (DE), Bill Fontana (US) and Ryoji Ikeda (JP).
