Courtesy the artists</figcaption></figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2026 Lagos Biennial, titled&nbsp;<em>The Museum of Things Unseen</em>&nbsp;and curated by Furen Dai, Chinyere Obieze and Sam Hopkins, has announced its list of participating artists.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>The biennial seeks to bring together works that question the space of the museum, asking which stories are told, which are hidden and what structures shape these narratives.&nbsp;</p>\n\n\n\n<p>The list of artist is as follows:&nbsp;</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ade Adekola, Ala Praxis, Caitlyn Min-ji Au,&nbsp;<a href=\"https://artreview.com/video-after-video-the-critical-media-of-camp-museum-of-modern-art-new-york-review-qingyuan-deng/\">CAMP</a>, Ha Bik Chuen, Jacob Höfle, Lagos Studio Archives, Olukemi Lijadu, Antoni Muntadas, New Culture Studios,&nbsp;<a href=\"https://artreview.com/aki-sasamoto-point-reflection-queens-museum-new-york-sounding-lines-para-site-hong-kong/\">Aki Sasamoto</a>, Arcangelo Sassolino,&nbsp;<a href=\"https://artreview.com/preview-amie-siegel-provenance-christies-post-war-and-contemporary-sale/\">Amie Siegel</a>, Alafuro Sikoki-Coleman,&nbsp;<a href=\"https://artreview.com/hito-steyerl-the-island-fondazione-prada-review-jj-charlesworth/\">Hito Steyerl</a>, Ethel-Ruth Tawe, Bert Theis, <a href=\"https://artreview.com/december-2015-review-kara-walker/\">Kara Walker</a>.&nbsp;</p>\n\n\n\n<p>OFFish, the biennial’s official parallel programme, will run alongside the main exhibition. The participants, selected via an open call, are: </p>\n\n\n\n<p>Art Bridge, Lagos; The Greenbox Museum of Contemporary Art from Saudi Arabia, Hoofddorp; Future Ancestries; Floating Museum x Lagos Space Programme; Together –&nbsp;EU Pavilion; Parsons School of Design | The New School, New York; Academy of Media Arts, Cologne; Yaba College of Technology, Lagos.&nbsp;</p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2026 biennial will also mark the unveiling of the Àkéte Collection, a collection consisting of works from previous editions of the Lagos Biennial as well as donations and loans from international museums and private collectors.
