Courtesy the artist, APALAZZOGALLERY and White Cube</figcaption></figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https://artreview.com/artist/ibrahim-mahama/?year=2025\">Ibrahim Mahama</a> has been awarded the city of Kassel’s 2026 Arnold Bode Prize, his gallery White Cube has announced. He will receive €10,000 in recognition of his artistic practice.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based in Accra, Kumasi and Tamale, Ghana, Mahama is a visual artist whose work interrogates histories of labour, migration and global economies. He is best known for his installations using jute sacks stitched together and often used to cover entire buildings.
