Photo: Michael Miller / OCA</figcaption></figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The 22-strong Sámi network Dáiddadállu has won the third MUNCH Award. The group is made up of individual artists, filmmakers, musicians authors, television and filmmakers from across the Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish regions of Sápmi (the territory traditionally inhabited by the Sámi people, which also includes parts of Russia).</p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will receive NOK 300,000 (£23,600). Administered by the Oslo museum of the same name, the prize has previously been awarded to Brazilian artist Rosana Paulino, and Palestinian artist and activist Samia Halaby.  </p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recent projects by Dáiddadállu members include <a href=\"https://artreview.com/maret-anne-sara-next-up-for-tate-moderns-turbine-hall-commission/\">Máret Ánne Sara</a>’s Hyundai Turbine Hall commission for Tate Modern and choreographer Elle Sofe Sara’s dance production <em>Láhppon/Lost</em> (2025), which reflected on the Kautokeino Rebellion of 1852 – a violent religious and political uprising by the Sámi population against Norwegianisation.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dine Arnannguaq Fenger Lynge, the managing director of Dáiddadállu said of the recognition, ‘We have worked hard for many years to build Dáiddadállu into what it is today.
