#aiww: The Arrest of Ai Weiwei

Howard Brenton’s play ‘#aiww: The Arrest of Ai Weiwei’, on until 18 May at London’s Hampstead Theatre .The play, directed by James Macdonald, is based on Barnaby Martin’s conversations with Ai Weiwei about his 81-day detention by the Chinese authorities in 2011, in relation to tax evasion.
