Media Sales Executive UK, ArtReview & ArtReview Asia


ArtReview / ArtReview Asia is looking for a confident and experienced Media Sales Executive to cover the United Kingdom. 

Duties:

• Maintains relationships with commercial and institutional clients by providing support, information, and guidance

• Sells print and online products by establishing contact and developing relationships with potential partners

• Represents the company to key stakeholders in the art industry and at national and international art events

• Creates business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; autonomously researches and analyses sales options

• Oversees contract administration of key partners

• Prepares reports for the Publisher by collecting, analysing, and summarising information

• Maintains professional knowledge and networks by regularly attending art events (including evenings and weekends); reviews competitor publications; establishes personal networks and participates in professional societies

Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have excellent presentation skills and an ability to manage client relationships. They will also be experienced in negotiation, prospecting, and meeting sales targets, as well as demonstrating creativity, an aptitude for planning, and an ability to work independently

ArtReview / ArtReview Asia
is looking for a confident and experienced Media Sales Executive based in Shanghai or Greater China, to cover sales in China and across Asia.

Duties:

• Maintains relationships with commercial and institutional clients by providing support, information, and guidance

• Sells print and online products by establishing contact and developing relationships with potential partners

• Represents the company to key stakeholders in the art industry and at national and international art events

• Creates business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; autonomously researches and analyses sales options

• Oversees contract administration of key partners

• Prepares reports for the Publisher by collecting, analysing, and summarising information

• Maintains professional knowledge and networks by regularly attending art events (including evenings and weekends); reviews competitor publications; establishes personal networks and participates in professional societies

Skills and Qualifications:

Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential, as is a willingness to travel. The successful candidate will have excellent presentation skills, an ability to manage client relationships and a good knowledge of Asia’s art markets. They will also be experienced in negotiation, prospecting, and meeting sales targets, as well as demonstrating creativity, an aptitude for planning, and an ability to work independently

Editorial and Publishing Trainee, ArtReview & ArtReview Asia


ArtReview / ArtReview Asia is looking for an editorial and publishing trainee to start in October for a period of six months.

Working across the editorial and publishing departments, you will gain experience in:

• General office administration

• Picture research

• Researching and preparing written, visual and audio materials for publication on print and digital platforms

• Web management and maintenance, social media

• Event management, media sales and marketing

The ideal candidate will have:

• An interest in visual art and publishing

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (a second language is helpful)

• Good organisational skills, the ability to multitask and work to deadline

• Confidence with IT software

The Editorial and Publishing Trainee will be based at ArtReview’s London office.
