ArtReview: What is Google?

Google: Google, a popular search engine, is a tool for finding resources on the World Wide Web. Google scans web pages to find instances of the keywords you have entered in the search box.

AR: How have you changed the world?

G: Imagine life before all of the modern conveniences that we take for granted. Think about getting ready for your day without a hairdryer, an electric razor or a microwave. Imagine life with no TV, no cell phone, no five-disc CD changers, and (the unthinkable) no computer for communicating with your mentor! It is almost unbelievable to think that 50 years ago some families did not even have a television; now you might be hard pressed to find a household without a TV. Modern inventions have certainly changed the world. In this project, you will take a closer look at how times have changed. Let’s get started!

AR: How do you cope with such responsibility?

G: Aligned to the lower tax proposal, ACT also wants to reduce or remove some Government programmes which they see as unnecessary and wasteful and increase self-reliance by encouraging individuals to take responsibility to pay for services traditionally paid for by Government. Critics point out that those with greater wealth would tend to cope with such self-reliance, whereas those with lower income with have fewer choices.

AR: Do you believe in absolute truth?

G: Learn to ask scientific questions. (How do you know what you are saying is true? What are the implications if you are right? And if you are wrong? How does this view impact your view of human life? Of religion? What factors – books, experiences, people, logic – led you to believe this? Why did you come to this conclusion and not the alternative?) All of us are at different stages in our understanding and experience, so realise that you don’t have to “win” every conversation. Just try to influence a person to the “next step” – and make sure you also are willing to take a next step, if necessary. Know that most people haven’t thought through what they believe, and so the real task is getting people to think on their own, not just swallow your ideas because you are more persuasive than the next guy.

AR: Are you really democratic?

G: Do you really, actually think Colbert was praising Bush?

AR: What do you say to your critics?

G: But as Texans like us say, when you find yourself in a hole, first thing to do is quit … You got more than enough critics right now, and sure, every dog …

AR: Do you encourage sloppy research?

G: Grade tough on homework, easier on time-bound tests. Frequently it happens in reverse: almost anything goes on the homework, which causes the students to get sloppy, and then they get clobbered on tests for making the same careless errors they got away with on the homework. This is pedagogically unsound, not to mention unfair.

AR: How do you know so much so quickly?

G: I bought the birthday hats and the inflatable beer bin for a party at my house, both items are extremely brilliant!! The service was fantastic, and the items delivered really quickly, so I could organise my party with ease. Thank you so much, I will definitely use this site again.

AR: Where is the current hotbed of creativity?

G: East Midlands is a hotbed of creativity!

AR: What will be the next big thing in art?

G: The Fred Flare Show.

AR: Who is the best artist in the whole wide world?

G: Dude, I got in a massive best person in the whole wide world. 2. You suck at the Internet!

AR: Who is number one in the Power 100?

G: I will never build only one of anything important. All important systems will have redundant control panels and power supplies. For the same reason I will always carry at least two fully loaded weapons at all times.
