Asian Art Biennial 2024 announces curators

The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts has announced that Haeju Kim, Asli Seven, Fang Yen-Hsaing, Anne Davidian and Merv Espina will curate the 2024 Asian Art Biennial.

Taiwanese curator and critic Fang Yen-Hsiang will lead the curatorial team comprising of Armenian curator Anne Davidian, Filipino curator Merv Espina, Korean curator Haeju Kim and Paris- and Istanbul-based curator Asli Seven. The press release states the exhibition will ‘unfold through collective dialogue’, to rethink ‘the territory and definition of Asia’ and highlight the diversity of Asian artistic practices and perspectives.

The exhibition will open on 16 November at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in Taichung.
