Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and implementation of editorial social media content across Meta Media’s arts titles, including ArtReview, ArtReview Asia and The Art Journal.
- Platforms include Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Bluesky and TikTok, with a particular focus on vertical video.
- Assist in developing and refining platform-specific approaches that maximise reach and engagement while maintaining each title’s distinctive editorial tone.
- Adapt and post content from print and online editions for global audiences, helping to drive visibility and traffic.
- Support the planning and delivery of paid campaigns (with guidance), including setting objectives and reviewing performance.
- Create simple social graphics, short videos and moving-image assets where needed.
- Track basic performance and engagement data, learning how to optimise posting schedules and formats in line with editorial goals.
- Prepare short weekly social performance notes and insights for the editorial team.
Candidate Requirements:
- You have some direct experience working with social media — ideally in publishing, media or the cultural sector — and are keen to build on it.
- You have an interest in contemporary art and are willing to develop a greater understanding of the artworld.
- You have some familiarity with developing organic social content and are interested in learning more about paid strategy and optimisation.
- You are comfortable looking at basic analytics and keen to develop stronger skills in interpreting data.
- You have a good visual eye and some experience using simple design or video tools.
