Morten Søndergaard will be the head curator of the MOMENTUM 13 biennale, its organiser Galleri F 15 has announced. The 2025 exhibition will focus on the sonic, exploring the natural and cultural worlds of Moss, Norway, where the biennale takes place.
In a statement, Søndergaard explains, ‘MOMENTUM 13 will resonate across five zones of sonic encounters that pick up the hidden and quiet, silent, and invisible; the excluded and disappeared places, processes, and objects. Through participatory listening, visitors will be offered opportunities to reflect on sound as a means of social, historical, personal, cultural, and natural construction of meaning.’
