Sapporo International Art Festival reveals 2020 lineup

The Sapporo International Art Festival (SIAF) revealed its initial artistic lineup for the upcoming triennial, which will take place from 19 December 2020 through 14 February 2021 in Sapporo, Japan. Titled Of Roots and Clouds, the city-wide exhibition organised by curatorial directors Taro Amano and Agnieszka Kubicka-Dzieduszycka will be a forum for inquiring into art and society with programmes held at venues such as Sapporo Art Park and the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art.

SIAF2020 is the third edition of the art event, and is also the first to take place in the winter, as previous iterations have been held in the summer and autumn months.
