President of the Association for the International Diffusion of French Art (ADIAF) Gilles Fuchs, has announced the names of the artists nominated for the 2014 Duchamp Prize: Theo Mercier, Florian and Michaël Quistrebert, Julien Previeux and Evariste Richer.Â
Created in 2000 by the ADIAF and organised in partnership with the Centre Pompidou, Paris, the prize supports the French artistic scene.Â
The winner, chosen by an international jury, and announced on 25th October 2014 in the Grand Palais, will receive a financial endowment of €35,000 euros as well as €30,000 towards the production of new work, which will be be shown at the Centre Pompidou in 2015.
2013 Duchamp Prize winner Latifa Echkach’s exhibition will open at the Centre Pompidou on 8 October 2014.Â
