Held across the Yokohama Museum of Art and the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No 1, the triennale will ‘reexamine the state of global connectivity and isolation from various angles’, while considering, among other questions, ‘the archipelago-style existence of regions and cultural spheres; the world that is generally growing conservative; distinctive evolutions and diversifications that happen within closed environments; and what kinds of potential human imagination and creativity may manage to cultivate.’
