Prix Marcel Duchamp 2026 shortlist announced

Joël Andrianomearisoa, the duo David Brognon and Stéphanie Rollin, Laura Henno and Josèfa Ntjam have all been shortlisted for this year’s Prix Marcel Duchamp, the Association for the International Diffusion of French Art (ADIAF) has announced.

The annual Prix Marcel Duchamp is the most prestigious contemporary art prize in France. It recognises contemporary art production by artists who are French or who live in the country. The laureate will receive a €35,000 grant and the work of all shortlisted artists will be on view at the Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris.

Last year, the prize was awarded to Xie Lei. Previous winners include Tarik Kiswanson, Kader Attia, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and Melik Ohanian. 

The winner will be revealed following the show’s opening in October.
