The Teiger Foundation has announced the recipients of its curatorial grant, which supports US curators to conduct research, mount exhibitions and host touring shows. The Foundation awarded a total of USD$7 million, split into grants ranging from $50,000 to $150,000, to 85 curators.
Since 2023, the Teiger Foundation has awarded its curatorial grants following an annual call for proposals. As of 2025, it is shifting to a biennial cycle, āallowing for a deeper investment in its grantees through extended programmatic supportā. To account for this change, the Foundation has increased its grant amount to $7 million this year, compared to $3.9 million in 2024.
āAs we evolve our model, we remain committed to supporting curators who enrich and reframe the cultural landscapeā, said John Silberman, board president of the Teiger Foundation.
