ArtReview December 2023 Issue Out Now

Featuring the Power 100 alongside an artist project by Feral Atlas

The December issue features the 22nd edition of the ArtReview Power 100, the magazine’s annual ranking of the international contemporary artworld’s 100 most influential figures – from artists and thinkers to collectors and activists.

Since 2002, when the first edition was published, ArtReview’s Power 100 has been the most comprehensive account of the artworld’s players and structures. Surveying the year’s activity from a unique perspective, the 2023 Power 100 draws on a global network of advisers to illuminate the frameworks that shape what is being seen, made and debated right now in art.

Running through this year’s list are currents of ecology, Indigeneity and smallscale activism in an unevenly globalised world, where a common denominator is often figures who push at the boundaries of what constitutes art and its institutions.

What this means for the list, along with a full analysis of the artworld’s power structures as they exist today and a specially commissioned project by artist collective Feral Atlas are all in the December issue of ArtReview.
