Oliver Basciano
Oliver Basciano is a journalist and critic based in São Paulo and London and editor-at-large at ArtReview. His writing has appeared in the Guardian, Financial Times, Spectator, The White Review and Times Literary Supplement and he has contributed to programming on BBC Radio 4. In 2018 he was a judge for the Turner Prize. In 2025 his first book, Outcast: A History of Leprosy, Humanity and the Modern World, was published and won the RSL Giles St Aubyn Award, which recognises debut works of non-fiction.
