Four new members have been added to Documenta 16’s curatorial team headed by Naomi Beckwith, the German quinquennial has announced.
The additional members are Diné artist and composer Raven Chacon, who will join the team as its curator-at-large, while British Ghanaian curator, author and art historian Osei Bonsu, Roma/Sinti curator and art historian Timea Junghaus and and Israeli curator and scholar Noam Segal were picked as the quinquennial’s curatorial advisors.
The four will work alongside Beckwith’s all-women team announced last year, composed of Carla Acevedo-Yates, Romi Crawford, Mayra A. Rodríguez Castro and Xiaoyu Weng.
Documenta 16 is scheduled to open 12 June 2027 through 19 September 2027.
