
The Kochi Biennale Foundation (KBF) has announced that Jitish Kallat will take on the role of president of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. He will chair the selection of the curator for the biennale’s next edition, taking on this responsibility from biennale co-founder Bose Krishnamachari who resigned from his roles as president and member of the board of trustees of KBF earlier this year.
Kallat is a contemporary artist and curator based in Mumbai. He is a member of KBF’s board of trustees and served as curator of the second edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale.
