Berlin-based artist and writer Hito Steyerl has been awarded the inaugural EYE Prize
A collaboration between Amsterdam based film museum EYE and the Paddy & Joan Leigh Fermor Arts Fund, the EYE Prize aims to highlight the relationship between contemporary art and film. EYE will stage an exhibition every fourth year of the three previous years’ EYE Prize winners.
Steyerl receives £25,000 towards the making of new work.
