LISA BARAITSER is Professor in Psychosocial Theory at Birkbeck, University of London and a practicing psychotherapist. She is the author of Maternal Encounters: The Ethics of Interruption (2009) and Enduring Time (2017), among other books, and co-editor of the journal Studies in the Maternal
CATHERINE McCORMACK is curator of Matrescence and Maternality, a two-part exhibition exploring maternal experience. She is the author of Women in the Picture (forthcoming with Seal Press) and a lecturer at Sotheby’s Institute of Art
The talk is part of 100% Women, a year-long programme at Richard Saltoun dedicated to historically under-recognised female artists
