Experimenter to open new gallery in Mumbai

1890s building in Colaba district will house Experimenter’s newest gallery

The contemporary art gallery Experimenter, founded by Prateek and Priyanka Raja, has announced the opening of its third space. With two existing galleries in Kolkata, Experimenter will launch its newest space in Mumbai’s Colaba district. Experimenter Colaba will expand on the gallery’s regular programme of exhibitions presenting local and international artists, as well as performances, music lectures and salon-style workshops.

The Mumbai gallery will open with a solo show by Ayesha Sultana, which will explore stillness and ‘the aesthetics of silence’ via new paintings, drawings and sculptures, on 23 September.
