Sharjah Art Foundation has put out an open call to invite new and established filmmakers from around the world to submit their films for the third edition of the annual festival Sharjah Film Platform (SFP). The selected films will be screened at the festival which is scheduled to take place from 14 – 21 November 2020. A jury will select a winning film. Alongside the screenings, SFP fill include ‘a public programme of talks, panel discussions and workshops that bring film experts from around the world to Sharjah’, as well as premieres of films supported by the Short Film Production Grant.
All films, regardless of artistic approach, format, or themes, will be accepted for consideration. The deadline for applications is 26 April 2020. To apply, click here.
