Regen is one of the more glamorous members of the Los Angeles art establishment, partly through personal style but largely because of her hard-to-beat roster of American and international art stars: Richard Prince, John Currin and Wolfgang Tillmans, for example. Shows by photographer Catherine Opie, highdesert earth/conceptual artist Andrea Zittel, YBA Gillian Wearing, sui generis Matthew Barney and LA punk icon Raymond Pettibon have all taken place over the last few months at Regen Projects.
