On 13 August, nonprofit campaign ART Power HK hosted a panel discussion on collecting photography and photography’s presence in the art market, with contributions from leading photography dealers and collectors in Hong Kong.

ArtReview Asia’s senior editor Fi Churchman was joined by Sarah Greene, director of Blue Lotus Gallery, Hong Kong based collector Dimitri Naert, and Cyril Delettre, artistic director and founder of La Galerie Paris 1839. The talk was part of ART Power HK’s ongoing series of talks and events.

ART Power HK was conceived in February 2020, in response to the impact of Covid-19 on Hong Kong’s annual art month of March. Originally conceived as a four-month campaign to maintain momentum for the arts by bringing the community online, the campaign has grown organically, representing over 135 organisations from across the artworld to support the initiatives of locally-based arts organisations, institutions and businesses.
