MOCA’s controversial director Jeffrey Deitch is expected to be leaving his post by the end of the end of the month, the LA Weekly has reported. Deitch, who has been in the job for just over three years, has faced a turbulent tenure, with the dealer turned museum director experiencing record-breaking attendance figures for the Museum’s street-art exhibition, ongoing financial difficulties, takeover bids and the resignation of all four of MOCA’s high-profile artist board members.
